This year, we are offering 28 species of plants native to NC, with most found in the mountains. They have been grown from seed by WNC Wild Ones member Adrienne O’Brien. Most species offered have about 50 plants available. Check out the Gallery for what Adrienne has been growing!
You can order online using the form below, or send an email to Adrienne listing the plants you would like and the quantity of each.
NOTE: These are small, first season plants – cell size is as follows:
Top: 1-5/8″; Bottom: 1-1/8″; Height: 2″. The roots are strong and will grow next summer. The 2022 seedlings are going very strong and most of them bloomed this year!
Orders must be received by September 20, 2023
Quantities are limited and orders are filled on a first come, first served basis. We will email you if your plants are not available and you can make a substitute or we can provide a refund.
Pick-up is by appointment from Friday, September 22 to Sunday, September 24, 2023. There may be some opportunities for later pick-up dates – again, by appointment. Pick-up will be in Weaverville, one mile from I-26 exit 21. Details will be provided after orders are filled.
Each plug will be labeled with temporary paper labels.
All individual plants are $2 each. This year we are offering mixed “kits” for Sun or Shade – 12 plants in each kit for $20 total.
Members of WNC Wild Ones will receive a 25% discount – WooHoo!!
If you opt to not use the form below, orders will be payable by cash or check (to Adrienne O’Brien) at pick up. We offer payment via PayPal using the form below. Your order will be processed in the order it is received.
Once again, a portion of the net profits will be donated to WNC Wild Ones for programs and projects. Last year, $535 was given to the chapter. Email Adrienne at [email protected] with questions or comments.
