Welcome to the 2026 WNC Wild Ones Native Plant Sale
This year, we are offering 30 species of plants native to NC, with most found in the mountains. They have been grown from seed by WNC Wild Ones member Adrienne O’Brien, a retired horticulturist who worked for the University of Michigan for 36 years. Check out the Gallery for what Adrienne has been growing! The photos were taken in early August, they will grow a lot more before the September pick up. You can order online using the form below, or send an email to Adrienne at [email protected] listing the plants you would like and the quantity of each.
Pot Size:Top: 2.5″; Bottom: 1.5″; Height: 3.5″. The plants and roots are very strong and will grow well next summer.
Orders must be received by Tuesday, September 15, 2026
Quantities are limited and orders are filled on a first come, first served basis. We will email you if your plants are not available and you can make a substitute (preferred) or we can provide a refund.
Pick-up is by appointment from Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2026. There may be some opportunities for later pick-up dates – again, by appointment. Just ask… Pick-up will be in Weaverville, one mile from I-26 exit 21. Details will be provided the second week of September.
Each pot will be labeled with sturdy plastic labels with scientific and common names, height and light needs
All individual plants are $2.50 each

If you opt to not use the form below, orders will be payable by cash or check (to Adrienne O’Brien) at pick up. We offer payment via PayPal using the form below. Your order will be processed in the order it is received.
